Sense Of Pride - Level Three Year 2 Final Major Project

Idea 1 - White Pride

With the current rise of the far right, and white pride, it feels appropriate the address the negative connotations of pride, that being white pride. The meaning of white pride is not as innocent as black or gay pride given that white people are not oppressed groups. Movements adopting the label  white pride have been based less around celebrating 'white culture' and more around oppressing people of colour and pushing ideas of ethnostates, race wars and separatism and straight up genocide. The purpose of this idea is to draw attention to the negative side of pride and span the spectrum of racism from the Alt-Right to casual implicit bias that exists in the general conscience.
