Evaluation:
For this project I have planned through storyboards and mind maps as a way to tell how I want to make sounds and at what part of the video I want to insert my own work. I also watched videos online of how foley is made and tried to downsize my project based on what resources I had at hand. For recording I used an editing suite to make sure I was in the quietest environment possible. I couldn't work the usual recording equipment so I had to settle for using my phone and a recording app. The soundtrack enhances the animation because the effects match up well with the video and make sense, such as when the violin pattern is stamped in to the creature's head. So far, using a limited amount of equipment to make the sounds has worked out okay for me, but if I could do the project again I would've taken more time to collect more objects. I would have also made sure I knew how to use the proper recording equipment so I could've gotten the best sound possible. I was also able to align the sounds up to the audio well as well. The weakest part of my project is how some sounds don't sound quite right such as when the character is moulding the clay, I didn't know how to recreate this sound at this point. If I were to re-do the project again I would use actual clay to record the sound.
