Justification for my chosen poem

I have chosen 'Do Not Go Gentle In To That Goodnight' as my project poem. I have chosen this poem because I know it well and understand the material better than my other two options. I liked this poem above the others from the beginning and it is the only poem I have any solid ideas for. The other poems are too long, as is this poem, but it works much better than the other two when shortened down to the word limit. The content is easier to understand for wider audiences than something by Walter White and the subject of the death of a loved one is relatable to most. I plan on using stock footage for a large part of the film as I am not able to film outside of the college and it would be hard to film anything here that would fit the theme of the video. I want to use a lot of imagery surrounding night and space to match the poems themes, but also because of the ideological link between space, night, the afterlife and death. The poem refers to night frequently as a metaphor for death, so I plan to use sunset and star timelapses. The parts of the poem that refer to certain types of men can be linked with a range offices showing different emotions to represent the lives the people referred to in the poem. I can achieve this by asking my friends to film a closeup shot of their faces.
